A great addition to any party, potluck, or gathering, pinwheels are easy to make, delicious to eat, and always a crowd-pleaser.
Also great, is that they can be made ahead of time and then sliced right before you need them.
Ingredients for a Dill Pickle Roll Ups
- 1 package (8 ounce) Cream cheese: Softened to room temperature
- 1/4 cup Ranch Dressing
- 2 Green Onions, Sliced
- 1 tsp Dried Dill
- 16 oz jar Baby Dill Pickles (I used 3 – 4 baby dill pickles per roll up)
- 2 – 3 Burrito Sized Flour Tortillas
Steps in Preparing Dill Pickle Roll Ups
Mix together the cream cheese, ranch dressing, sliced green onions and dried dill.
Spread mixture in an even layer to the edge of the tortilla. Use 1/2 to 1 cup of the mixture. The amount you use on the tortilla is dependent on how thick you want the filling. I used half of the mixture. Also the more filling you use the less tortillas you will need.
Slice the baby dill pickles thinly.
Place the slices on the tortilla and cream cheese mixture.
Tightly roll up the tortilla with the filling inside. Wrap in plastic wrap. You can add a toothpick to hold them together if desired. Repeat until all the tortillas are rolled and wrapped.
Place the wrapped rollups in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours. Can chill overnight.
Use a very sharp knife to slice into pinwheels, about 1/2 inch thick.
Enjoy!
These Dill Pickle Roll Ups are so delicious, flavorful, and easy to make.
