Canning tomatoes is so easy, but so satisfying! To see and be able to use your own harvest in so many different recipes throughout the winter is a great feeling of accomplishment.

One of the best things about canning is that you have complete control of the ingredients. The result is so much healthier than store-bought! You control the amount of sugar and salt, plus no preservatives. You can also control the spice and seasoning level of whatever you are canning.
