Making your own homemade taco seasoning is another step towards controlling ingredients in the things you eat! So easy to do with simple spices that you have in your pantry.
This taco seasoning beats the store-bought packets that have added preservatives and additives. Plus you can customize the flavor by adding more or less of some ingredients. This homemade taco seasoning is low sodium and gluten free!
This recipe is made with pure spices so it is more potent than the store-bought packets, so I only use 2 tablespoons of the mix for one pound of ground beef. Store bought seasoning usually have fillers that make up a majority of the packets.
