Detailed Steps to Make Instant Pot Pork Chops, Potatoes, Mushroom and Gravy Recipe
Peel and cut the potatoes up into smaller pieces.

Wash and cut up the mushrooms.

Season the pork chops with salt and pepper or I actually like to use Aldi brand steak seasoning. Turn the Instant Pot to the sauté function, add about 1-2 tablespoon of vegetable oil and sear the outside of the pork chops. I use olive oil and brown 2 to 3 pork chops at a time.

Remove the pork chops and set aside. Add 1 to 2 cups beef broth to the pot and continue on the sauté function. Use a wooden spatula or similar utensil to scrape any brown bits from the bottom of the pot. This prevents the burn notice when cooking. Press cancel to shut the sauté function off.
Add the pork chops back to the instant pot.

Add the potatoes.

Add the mushrooms, salt and pepper and 2 more cups of beef broth.

Close the lid and set the vent to the sealed position. Select a cook time of 20 minutes at high pressure.

Once the cook time is complete, let the Instant Pot perform a natural release of pressure for at least 15 minutes. Press cancel.
Open the lid carefully.

To thicken the gravy, remove 1/2 – 1 cup of the broth and add to a bowl. Then add 2 Tbsp cornstarch to the broth and whisk until smooth. Add the mixture back to the pot. Push the saute button and stir until the broth thickens.
Remove the pork chops, potatoes and mushrooms portions to each plate for serving and add the gravy.

Enjoy!

Is it 4-6# pork chops or 4 to 6? That sounds like a lot if it is pounds.
Oh wow! Thanks for pointing that out. It is just 4 – 6 porkchops, not sure how the pound got in there. I made the correction. Thanks again!
Should you change it on the picture too?
