CANNING GREEN TOMATOES

FOR FRYING

The end of season green tomatoes are a wonderful opportunity from frying!  And if you have an abundance, it is great to be able to can them and have them all winter long!

SIMPLE INGREDIENTS:

-Green Tomatoes -Water -Lemon Juice

Slice the green tomatoes

Pack the slices into a canning jar and then add boiling water to the jar

Add lemon juice to the jar of green tomatoes

Add the canning jars to the boiling water bath and process jars at a full rolling boil.
