Rose Petal Tea Recipe
Roses from My Yard
First, Cut Rose Flowers from the rosebush
Separate the Petals from the Flowers
Put the Petals in a large bowl or quart mason jar. You can use 1 to 4 cups of flowers. I feel the more the better
Add 4 cups of Boiling Water
I add 2 Tablespoon of lemon juice to the tea, to bring the color out.
Let the tea steep for 30 minutes to 4 hours.
Strain the Petals from
the Rose Tea
When ready, pour the tea into a glass and add ice.
The rose petal tea makes a beautiful refreshing iced tea with a delicate flavor.
