CANNING GREEN TOMATOES

FOR FRYING

What is better than some fried green tomatoes?? If you haven't tried them you need to.  In the fall, pick those green tomatoes and fry some up and can the rest with this recipe for frying all winter!

SIMPLE INGREDIENTS:

-Green Tomatoes -Water -Lemon Juice

Slice the green tomatoes

Pack the slices into a canning jar and then add boiling water to the jar

Add lemon juice to the jar of green tomatoes

Add the canning jars to the boiling water bath and process jars at a full rolling boil.
